As you are all aware, our major fund raiser for the year is almost upon us. Our annual horse trials will be held over 2 days on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th October. In addition to running the event, the set up for this event is substantial and will take place on the Thursday and Friday before the event. This means that the duties are spread over 4 days, so we hope that all members are able to make a significant contribution to this event.
This year we are using signup.com to coordinate our volunteers for the event. If you have not already advised me of your preferred duties for the weekend, please click on the link below to select your preferred duties. To assist us in organising this event, we ask all members to fill in their duties asap and respond no later than Monday 24 September. After this time, duties not yet filled, will be allocated across the membership. At a minimum, we ask all families to donate at least 8 hours of their time to this event and in addition to this, riders over the age of 12, will also be allocated a duty.
Whilst times are not yet available, an estimate of grade times are outlined below. Grades 1 to 3 will only have a dressage test to complete on Saturday, so will have plenty of time to complete duties. Similarly, Grades 4 & 5 will only have XC on Sunday morning, so will have ample time to assist on Sunday afternoon.
